Project Description

These Lexington, Kentucky homeowners built a once-in-a-lifetime home with very specific tastes. Leininger created custom architectural cabinetry & accessories for the library, kitchen, dining room, living room, and stairway. The library consists of beautiful butternut wood with a natural wood stain finish. The library custom cabinetry conveniently conceals a wet bar. Adjustable shelves, matching crown molding and window casings create the seamless and fully integrated design. In the kitchen, Leininger created a radiused raised panel jamb. The cabinetry contains multiple rollouts and the drawers are dovetailed maple throughout.

In the living room, Leininger created a custom reproduction of a fireplace mantle seen in Paris, France. The dining room contains a restored, antique fireplace mantle from an old home in Kentucky. The stairway features a virtually continuous flowing, cherry, handrail. The antique style railing, an engineering masterpiece – contains a level design despite its elliptical shape, turns, and descending curves with perfection carried to the hand turned balusters.
